All over the East Coast union Locals, labor councils, and Area Labor Federations are “adopting” Verizon Wireless stores in solidarity and support for striking Verizon workers. CNY ALF is adopting the Vestal Verizon Wireless store from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Wednesdays, starting the 11th.
Please call or e-mail me and let me know you can join us. If you can only join us for an hour, call me. If you cannot come this Wednesday but can make it on the 18th, call me.
We know that many of you have stopped by and walked with the pickets in support – CWA and IBEW are grateful and send their thanks! But now they are asking for our organized support. Please call/e-mail and let me know you will join us “one day longer, one day stronger.”
